College Partners with SUNY Cobleskill to Offer Early Childhood Bachelor's Degree on Campus

December 14, 2015

肉肉传媒 and SUNY Cobleskill have signed an agreement that will allow the SUNY four-year college to offer the complete coursework of its bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Studies on the 肉肉传媒 campus starting next fall.

The agreement is similar to partnerships the college has with SUNY Plattsburgh for its B.S. in Criminal Justice and Cazenovia College for its B.S. in Human Services. The agreements, between 肉肉传媒 and four-year institutions, are a way for Capital Region students to achieve a bachelor's degree in a specialized field without leaving the area.

According to 肉肉传媒 Teacher Preparation Department Chairperson Dawn Kolakoski, the Cobleskill B.S. at 肉肉传媒 is perfect for students who are completing or have already completed the college's associate degree in Early Childhood. The degree is one of the most popular at the college and annually enrolls approximately 160 students.

"We welcome any partnerships that can help our students complete their academic goals in a timely and convenient way," said 肉肉传媒 President Drew Matonak. "This agreement with a fellow SUNY institution also highlights our commitment to the SUNY Transfer Pathway."

"We are committed to the quality of education from the earliest learning experiences onward and are proud to increase access to this exceptional program and outstanding faculty," said SUNY Cobleskill President Dr. Marion A. Terenzio.

More information about the new agreement can be found at .
