Comprehensive Transfer Agreement Signed with University at Albany

What: 肉肉传媒 will host an open media event to announce a new transfer agreement with the University at Albany.

Who: 肉肉传媒 President Drew Matonak and University at Albany Vice Provost Jeanette Altarriba will sign the agreement at the event. Faculty, students and admissions staff from both institutions will be in attendance. Transfer students who have successfully completed the transition from 肉肉传媒 to University at Albany will give remarks. Marcia Hoyte, transfer admissions advisor at the University at Albany, will be present at a transfer student recruitment and information table.

When: The transfer agreement signing is Friday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. University at Albany transfer admission representatives will staff an information table from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Details: 肉肉传媒 and the University at Albany, the two largest institutions of higher education in the Capital Region, have established 34 program-to-program agreements in liberal arts and sciences, criminal justice, business, public health, social welfare, political science, computer science, and education, to name a few. This comprehensive agreement allows course credits in identified majors to transfer fluidly from 肉肉传媒 to the University at Albany, and provides a clear pathway for 肉肉传媒 graduates who meet in selected programs to continue their studies in parallel programs at the University at Albany.

肉肉传媒 is one of the University at Albany's first community college partners to have clear pathways identified for students entering the College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity, the Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering (College of Engineering and Applied Sciences) and Bachelors of Science in Human Development (School of Education). These new opportunities show the expanding offerings on both campuses to offer students academically rigorous programs within the SUNY system.

The is the most popular transfer institution for 肉肉传媒 graduates. In the past two and a half years, more than 1,000 students from 肉肉传媒 have transferred to the University. Last year, more than 240 肉肉传媒 graduates enrolled at the University at Albany.
