College to Celebrate Homecoming Weekend Sept. 21-22

肉肉传媒 will hold its annual Homecoming weekend festivities Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22, 2024. Most events are open to the public; please note where registration may be required.
Saturday, September 21
- 15th Annual Race Away Stigma 5K Run and Fun Walk (Registration required)
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.; Race begins at 9:30 a.m.; Awards and snacks at 10:30 a.m.
All are invited to participate in the Race Away Stigma 5K Race and Fun Walk to raise awareness and end the stigma associated with mental illness. The event is free to 肉肉传媒 students. or contact Counseling and Wellness Services at (518) 629-7320 or counseling@hvcc.edu. Registration is also available at the event. - Distinguished Alumni Brunch
10 a.m.
The program celebrates alumni for notable contributions within their career fields and communities. The brunch will be held in the Bulmer Telecommunications Center. *(Registration for this event is now closed). - Tailgate Party and BBQ
11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The Tailgate BBQ will be held at the picnic area by the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. All are invited to enjoy free music, food and beverages, and giveaways prior to the Homecoming football game. Free t-shirts will be given out (while supplies last)! - Alumni Presentation
12:45 p.m.
Join us at the game as we recognize this year’s Distinguished Alumni on the field, and visit the alumni tent for free 肉肉传媒 Alumni Association swag and some popcorn! - Homecoming Football Game
1 p.m.
The Vikings football team will take on Nassau Community College for the Homecoming football game. Tickets are available at the gate for $5 per person; admission is free for 肉肉传媒 students, faculty, staff, and honorary guests.
Sunday, September 22
- Men’s Soccer vs. Fulton-Montgomery Community College
Noon
The Vikings men’s soccer team will face off against Fulton-Montgomery Community College at noon. Admission is free.
